Mehdi
Danesh MA
Farsi & English
I believe every individual has his/her
own unique inner world and therefore has his/her
own special therapy needs. The relationship between
therapist and the client is dynamic and ever evolving.
People who have extra-marital affair are looking
for more rewarding relationship than what they
are experiencing with their spouse. Unfortunately
this path almost always ends up in divorce, depression,
guilt, financial strain and more stressful life
for the couple or the family. Clients seen in
Tarzana and West LA.

Nasrin Barkhordari, MA.,
MFT
Nasrin’s twenty-five years of education
and rich experience working with families and
children, from her initial employment as a pre-school
teacher and pre-school director, to the culmination
of her mastery as a child development specialist
and marriage and family therapist, have solidified
her role as an individual, family, and child psychotherapist
as well as consultant. Nasrin’s passion
and curiosity for the dynamics of love and relationships
attracted her to the field of marriage and family
psychotherapy. Throughout her enrichment, Nasrin
has found that every human being is born with
an ingrained need for a sense of belonging, love,
freedom, and power, and that the relationship
of child to caretaker is the single-most significant
one in his or her development. For this reason
Nasrin is a child developmental specialist, working
with parents, children, adolescents, and young
adults; assisting them in creating and/or reformulating
strong, unwavering connections. In her role as
a bilingual (English and Farsi speaking) marriage
family therapist, Nasrin fosters and develops
interpersonal relationships, both for individuals
with personal needs and couples with marital needs.
Nasrin continues to expand her education in psychotherapy
by constantly attending classes, conferences,
and seminars. She is a comprehensive life member
of The National Association of Education for Young
Children (NAEYC), The Association of Play Therapy
(APT), and The California Association of Marriage
and Family Therapy (CAMFT). Nasrin has been a
staff member of the Personal Growth Institute
since 2003, and meets with clients at her offices
in Tarzana and West Los Angeles, California.
